About Me
I am an art educator, maker and yoga practitioner currently living and working in Hong Kong; originally from New York. I have been teaching art for 16 years. Many of my students have grown up and are out there in the world making art on their own. I like the idea of continuing to help facilitate the creative process for young, and young at heart artists and makers. I believe that art can transform communities and I want to support individuals that are working towards that aim.
I see this project as an act of service, both as a way to support artists that need a little extra help to make their ideas happen and as a vehicle to support projects that have heart, that make a difference to communities. The aim of my project is to support projects that engage and inspire communities through interventionist arts and activities.
I was inspired by Josh Greene's Service Works project. Josh Greene donated one night's tips a month from waiting tables to fund small art grants.
In addition to teaching art I also teach yoga. I donate my yoga earnings to this project.
Thank you for your interest in this project. This project is dedicated to all of my fine teachers.
Warmly,
Robin Muller
